Chapter I · The House

A family home, reimagined tile by tile

House of Mosaic began as the Mansur family home, a 1950 house in the quiet streets of Oranjestad, minutes from the beaches and the airport. Fernando grew up here. On August 1st, 2004, he opened its doors to guests, and he hasn’t stopped decorating since.

There is more to Aruba than beaches. Golden light, hidden gardens, old-world houses, art, music, rituals, and encounters you did not plan.

Mosaics climb the walls and walkways. The gallery fills with new work. Candlelight catches carved wood, velvet, and gold, because the owner is also the artist, and he is usually somewhere on the property, adding to it.

Guests say the same thing a hundred different ways: it feels like coming home, not checking in. It feels like being welcomed into the home of a friend with excellent taste and better stories.

Chapter II · The Rooms

Six rooms, no two alike

Every room is decorated by hand with its own art, color, and story. Take one, or reserve the entire villa. Mornings start with a local-cuisine breakfast in the garden; days end at the bar, under the mosaics.

Chapter III · The Ritual

An 1890 opium bed, and the hour it holds

Spa in a Bed is the slowest hour on the property: aromatherapy, tea, champagne, frozen botanicals, and light, taken inside a carved Chinese bed that has anchored the house since 2008.

The object: A room within a room, and a rare survivor of an era that left very few. Fernando found it in a Dutch antique shop in Curaçao in 2008 and brought it across the water to Aruba.

The ritual: Aromatherapy, tea and champagne, frozen botanicals, and light that moves slower than you do. An hour built around doing very little, and doing it beautifully.

Chapter IV · The Garden

Say it with a garden party

The House of Mosaic team has designed weddings and celebrations since 1994. All love is celebrated here. House of Mosaic proudly hosts LGBTQ+ weddings and events.

Weddings & vow renewals: exchange vows in the sculpture garden, or at your chosen spot anywhere on the island.

Private celebrations: birthdays, showers, welcome receptions, themed dinners under the lanterns.

Creative décor, built for you: every event is styled from scratch by the house’s own designers.
